Samsung TV Plus – TV & Movies is an app designed to provide users with access to a wide array of television content without any subscription fees. Through the app, individuals can stream over 750 live TV channels and explore thousands of movies and shows available on demand, all at no cost. It serves as a mobile extension of the Samsung TV Plus service, allowing users to watch content while away from their primary Samsung devices. The app consolidates various genres, from news and entertainment to movies and sports, into a single platform accessible with an internet connection.
Content Selection
The app offers a diverse catalog of content, encompassing both live broadcasts and on-demand programming. Users can access live local and national news from sources such as ABC News Live, CBS News, LiveNOW from FOX, NBC News NOW, CNN Replay, and Bloomberg Originals. For entertainment, the platform includes full seasons of popular shows like “The Walking Dead,” “Dateline,” “Law & Order,” “Top Gear,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Conan O’Brien TV,” and “Dr. Who.” Additionally, a selection of movies is available through channels such as Paramount Movie Channel, Hallmark Movies & More, The Movie Hub, and CINEVAULT: Classics. New channels, shows, and movies are regularly added to the service.
Access and Limitations
Samsung TV Plus provides a free television experience, eliminating the need for paid subscriptions, contracts, or a set-top box. While the Samsung TV Plus service is built into various Samsung devices like 2016–2023 Samsung Smart TVs, Galaxy devices, Smart Monitors, and Family Hub refrigerators, this mobile app specifically extends that access to compatible mobile devices. It requires an active internet connection to stream any content, as it does not support offline viewing.
